Novoalign aligners work for most conditions, some of which are shown below. It is best to visit a dental practitioner for a consultation, he can contact our Product Specialists and present you with the NovoalignTM Free Case Review and an initial assessment.

Crowding

Crowding is the lack of space for all teeth to fit normally within the jaws. The teeth may be rotated, tipped or displaced. Crowding occurs when there is disharmony in the tooth to jaw size relationship, or when the teeth are larger than the available space. It can also be caused by delayed loss of primary teeth, or improper eruption of teeth.

Spaces

Spacing, the opposite of crowding, is an excess of space for your teeth, resulting in gaps between your teeth. This generally occurs when the teeth are smaller than the available space. Spacing can also be caused by protrusive teeth, missing or impacted teeth, or abnormal tissue attachments to the gums.

Protrusion (Teeth coming too out)

Teeth extending beyond normal contour of dental arches; usually in a front or anterior direction. This is characterized by the upper teeth extending too far forward or the lower teeth not extending far enough forward.

Cross bite

Cross bite is a condition when one or more upper teeth will bite on the inside of the lower teeth. This may happen at the front or on the sides of your mouth. Cross bite may cause wear of the teeth, gum disease and bone loss.

Midline shifted

When your midline is shifted your upper front teeth midline does not match with your facial midline. This may be visually unattractive. With clear aligners your midline can be shifted to align your front teeth.
